From a deep understanding of Asian tastes to a decade of retail experience in the UAE, discover the journey of the woman behind QKO and her vision to make trusted, halal-conscious Asian snacks accessible to all.
Growing up with Muslim friends, I saw how much they loved Japanese and Korean snacks, but always had to worry about haram ingredients.
I wanted to build a place where you can enjoy
bestselling snacks from Korea, Japan, and Thailand
without the doubt.
Everything is carefully selected and halal-conscious.
QKO means "Express" in Japanese,
and it also reflects my story:
Q for Q8 (Kuwait), where I grew up and KO for Korea, where I’m from.QKO is your express journey to Asia with peace of mind.
